I had 2 afternoon jobs today not far from each other. 2 elderly ladies who are friends and have been my customers for years. Both named Betty. Betty 1 always books first then calls Betty 2 and tells her she's booked me. Then Betty 2 calls me and books. Been that way for years. I get a call this morning from Betty 2 saying that she might not be able to make it. She is waiting for paramedics to take her to the hospital. Apparently, she had some type of seizure. I wonder how many younger people would be thinking of calling the carpet cleaner while they are in medical distress? I got to Betty 1 on time and it was just her there to let me in. Betty 1 came in before I was finished and let me know it doesn't look good for Betty 2. Betty 2 is 94.
