My 04 Chevy express 2500 smallv8. Has rear engine oil leak maybe the rear seal. Prior under warranty had 4 flex plates changed also a rebuilt tranny under warranty. I just had new plugs and valve gaskets replaced. I thought it was valve cover gaskets nope. It's clear engine oil leak at rear or engine,. Any info would help. Thank you .jz

Take it to a mechanic
You’re welcome
Yes I did $850.00 plugs new ignition wires and new valve cover gaskets. Thought valve covers were leaking, nope the leak is more to the rear of the engine still looking.

Its probably a runner. Leaking somewhere else then running to the back of the motor. I'll peak under mine and see if theres anything that could leak in the back besides the seal or pan gasket. A loose or oil drain plug will do that too.

Check oil filter and oil pan nuts are tight. I had a wixs filter leak a year ago. Also had a pan gasket leak once, lie undernesth and check pan bolts are tight.
