08 one ton gmc bought new in 09 with butler 3 packages and high heat option. 41000 miles with 2600 hours. New tires a month ago, rebuilt pump and complete new drive shaft system with new clutch. No scratches or dents, what my butler worth?

No clue! Why did you need a new shaft and not just bearings? 2600hrs MIGHT burn up a clutch....But a shaft?

Every four to five years I trade in for a new one. The shaft had a small vibration from day one and it ate up the bearings and seals in the process, nice it was under waranty($1800 fix). Butler is sellinf recondition ones just like it for 42-44 g.

2600 hours times 60 equivalent miles = 156,000 miles =41k =197,000 mile on the engine = oils spot in the customers driveway. That's why he is selling

If Butler Corp was selling that unit they would want between $32-34K not $41K

But it would be completely reconditioned and look nearly brand new

They would only give you around $18-20K as a trade in

You should take first offer over $27K

Well the new one is on order and I got around 54% of what I paid for it on trade. The new was is the same as this one. If you keep your records up to date butler is very true on their buy back numbers. My truck is in 99% shape and I got top trade in for it. And 1.9% financing for 5 years is very good.

67,000 miles on mine and 3300 hours= no oil spot
